vesto metal formwork

Wall Formwork

VESTO metal frame formwork and formwork for casting walls, pillars, support walls and earth retaining walls as well as vertical-type castings. This formwork is distinguished in the field for its modularity, versatility, performance and finishing. In terms of modularity, all panels, both standard and universal, have horizontal elements with 5cm drilled holes. This allows us to use any standard panel as a universal panel when necessary and also to eliminate wood filings. DW15 ad DW20 rods pass through truncated conical bushes. This allows formwork to be used for sloped castings up to a maximum inclination of 6n°. VESTO formwork has smooth surface finishing created with RAL 2009 coloured powder coating. This framework comprises a perimeter frame, CU profile beams with a constant pitch of 25cm and a covered with a single 18mm thick, Finnish, multilayer panel with a 220 g/m2 phenolic coating. All of the system's panels can be used either vertically or horizontally..

Technical Data

Clamps

Two types of wedge clamp guarantee the joint between the panels. The aligning clamp fastens and the UNA patented aligner can be adjusted. When the clamps are positioned at any point on the perimeter frame the clamps connect the panels both horizontally and vertically.

Corner closings

Corners can be closed in three ways:
1. corners facing the same way with universal/pillar panels: external closure is done using four hooked rods;
2. corners closed with standard panels: external closure is done using four adjustable clamps;
3. corners closed with external corners: closing is done using 4 UNA clamps fixed to the side.

"T" walls

"T" walls are constructed using the 25x20 cm inner corner and a single, 5 cm filling.

Restarts

Universal-pillar panels allow very easy restarting from already existing walls of various thickness. In these cases, four rods are sufficient.

Casting stops

Castings can be closed in various ways. The most simple ways are:
- with aligners, laminated wooden beams and a cover;
- with one standard panel and two universal/pillar panels.
Three hook rods and butterfly dice are used to make the connections.

Pillars

Rectangular and square pillars, sized from 20x20cm to 75x75cm with a height of up to 9m, are constructed with universal/pillar panels equipped with mill blades.

Lead coating

Lead-coated struts ensure that compositions are vertical. The struts are joined to the control arm. The coated struts and the control arm are connected by a base plate fixed to the ground and are connected to the formwork via the specific Omega attachment for struts.

Lift shafts

Stair cases and lift shafts are normally present on all floors of a building. To facilitate work and reduce arming and disarming times, the system is equipped with: arming/disarming corners. The span of the stripping corners allows the formwork to be detached from the walls and, therefore, allows walls to be detached. In order to facilitate the disarming operation in closed shafts (U walls), the filling blade with the aligners and DW Omega attachment is used as an alternative to disarming corners. The filling blade is used with the guides and DW Omega attachment.

Compositions

The VESTO system also resolves the problem of walls at non-90n° angles. With the help of the articulated corner of the articulated aligner, combined with the OMEGA DW attachments, fillings and universal/U pillar panels, wall castings can be made with angles from 65n° to 180n°.

Casting brackets

The Vesto formwork system is the only one of its kind that can be completely integrated into the “multidirectional” scaffolding system. The casting is connected using a patented Omega MC self-locking attachment. This acts as a washer with a single attachment and can be positioned on the CU beams at any point of the panel. This combination allows the formwork system to be used in any application or at any stage of work with a high degree of safety.
