multidirectional scaffolding multicom
All elements are produced in various lengths and dimensions to provide scaffolding for any type of construction. The versatility of the central node also offers the ability to create semi-circular scaffolding structures to meet the most varied construction site demands. The starting elements are fitted after the bases at the assembly site. The ground-level surface is completed with the current engagement and diagonals. This allows you to easily check that the scaffolding is horizontal.

The system allows you to position the work surfaces at every 50cm rather than at every two meters high as it happens with prefabricated frame scaffolding. This provides interplanes with a height that can adapt to any construction site demand. This characteristic is welcomed in the naval and industrial construction industries. MULTICOM is therefore the best system for both new and constructions reconstructions. The MULTICOM system allows you to create any type of face scaffolding, support tower or floor casting, public staircases of up to 60m high, covers with spans of up to 30m, foot walkways, emergency staircases, stages and galleries for sport events or shows as well as special works. Modular scaffolding ensures a high level of protection for workers. Take advantage of a scaffolding system with cutting-edge safety features and ensure that future products are also safe. MULTICOM is approved and certified according to Italian and European standards. Strict performance and quality tests at the top of the production chain ensure the quality and durability of the materials.

Assembly
The Multicom system features a rapid coupling system that allows the vertical elements (struts) and horizontal elements (currents and beams) and/or diagonal elements to be connected quickly and safely.
The rapid coupling comprises three elements:
- a drilled plate (washer);
- a head junction (for beams, currents and diagonal elements);
- a bayonet (wedge).
The head junction is inserted into the drilled plate (fig. 2). The wedge is then lowered so that it slides into the slot in the drilled plate and is forced into place with a hammer (fig. 3). The specific shape of the head junctions is created by using a hammer on the wedge to achieve a solid connection that is similar to the connection of the junction (fig. 4). A rivet positioned at the end of the head junction wedge ensures that there is no deformation of the wedge. Connection, by means of the locking device ( head-drilled plate-wedge junction) forms an accurate 90n° in relation to the horizontal support surface.

Decking
Decking is constructed with cold-profiled metal tables with galvanised blade coils and are produced with completely automated systems. The metal tables are equipped with anti-slip surfaces that allows you to work on the scaffolding in absolute safety. The system is equipped with staggered support hooks to allow head to head assembly on the same current and/or beam.
The specific shape of these hooks ensures that the table is stable against the stresses of the structure. All tables are arranged with an integrated windproof spine and are 30.6cm wide. The tables are alternated with filling tables and junctions to allow the creation of work surfaces that are free of gaps. Metal decking for use in loading lay-bys or concentrated loads (e.g.: use of transpallet on bridge) must be covered with load distributors.

Lay-bys and goods platforms
The MULTICOM system allows you to create lay-bys and goods platforms that can also be applied to traditional frame scaffolding. The capacity and dimensions of lay-bys and goods platforms very according to the requirements of the construction site. Connection to frame structures is very simple and is done using a dual junction. However, the use of lay-bys and goods platforms is subject to obtaining a signed calculation from a qualified engineer.

Tower staircases
Climbing up and down hatches in scaffolding systems can sometimes be uncomfortable. For this reason, the MULTICOM system offers the ability to build tower staircases, either straight or overlapping, to be applied either within additional MULTICOM scaffolding fields or externally to traditional frame scaffolding systems. The plan dimensions of the structure are 150 x 250cm with interplane struts placed at every 2m. The system can be fitted with base elements of up to 60 m in height. The access ladder with an aluminium structure is 61.2cm wide; the ergonomic railings follow the slope of the stair ramp as do the inner railings fitted on the ramp itself. The use of tower staircases is subject to obtaining a signed calculation from a qualified engineer.
