circular wall formwork radius

Circular Formwork

CONDOR offers circular formwork for curved walls of variable radii (minimum interior 3.00m). This type of formwork is available in the following dimensions:
Circular formwork, interior
2,40 x 3,00 m
1,15 x 3,00 m
2,40 x 1,50 m
1,15 x 1,50 m
2,40 x 0,75 m
1,15 x 0,75 m
Circular formwork, exterior
2,50 x 3,00 m
1,20 x 3,00 m
2,50 x 1,50 m
1,20 x 1,50 m
2,50 x 0,75 m
1,20 x 0,75 m
The panel comprises various steel frames with and 11cm profile and an 18mm thick multilayer panel (100% birch) with 220 gr/m2 phenolic treatment on both sides. Modules are supplied straight before being altered at the construction site. They are attached to the curve radii with adjustments bolts on the back of the panel and using control templates to ensure that the correct curve is obtained. Modules can be overlapped up to maximum a height of 7.50m.

For adaptation to curve radii begin from the inner side, working on the inner adjustment, proceeding uniformly to the outside. Modules are fitted, constantly checking the correspondence between the inner and outer edges. To compensate for any spaces, up to a maximum width of 10cm, interpose wooden struts. If there are small radii the struts must be shaped with trapezoid shapes. The circular system can be combined horizontally or vertically, keeping the same typical construction characteristics of the formwork and frame. Using these accessories ensures that different systems are compatible. The first formwork must always be fastened with two support struts. The remaining struts must be placed according to the indications in the reference table.

The access brackets are placed at a maximum distance of 1.80m. The load for the access brackets is 150 kg/m2 and side protection is via a parapet at the end. Modules are overlapped at a height of up to 4.50m, inserting a lifting profile (item 25023) in alternately. For heights above 4.50m, two lifting profiles are used for each frame element of the panel.
